Artist's Description

Save the Mustangs Adopt a Mustang, photo

my poem.

mustangs running with The Judas Horse.

the cowboys, soldiers, meat men, trained
The Judas horse, then let him loose to run along,
to lead the mustang mob into the holding pen;

when traitor's deed was done
they cut him out; they fed their Judas horse
his thirty pieces oats and hay;

each mustang felt the freezing brand, the BLM, their
Angles, Alpha Symbols, US Government, a registration number
on each horse,

the government now owns your freedom, yes it does,
to take away;

some mustangs were adopted, some set free, and most reserved for pet
food meat, worth multi-million dollars to the pet food vulture companies
watching in the wings, their management could sure care less about
the mustang freedom life, for money, only dollars, is their creed;

the mustang mix of horse breeds, feral living symbols of the cowboy, cowgirl
