Description
Northern Utah Garland Winter Evening Buggy Ride
my
grandma
ida
felt
the
warmth
the
fleece
blanket
was
toasty
warm
his
hand
was
warmer
still
upon
her
thigh
romantic
expectation
in
the
moonlight
air
and
sky
my
grandpa
peter
held
her
hand
this
time
in
contemplation
expectation
they
did
listen
to
the
snow
crunch
underneath
the
buggy
wheels
the
horse’s
hooves
the
crunch
and
scrunch
and
scrunch
and
crunch
sans
any
thing
at
all
like
radio
or
cd
or
an
iphone
call
those
garland
quiet
sounds
could
almost
send
a
young
bride
off
to
sleep
in
utah's
garland
fields
of
dreams
anxieties
were
higher
still
the
farm
house
on
its
little
hill
its
bed
had
gotten
closer
by
the
hour
and
now
the
minutes
ticking
sigh
were
fleeing
by
two
hearts
did
palpitate
then
beat
in
rhythm
wedding
in
the
logan
temple
was
now
past
some
friends
and
family
came
those
came
who
had
a
bishop’s
recommend
the
men
did
say
their
mumbled
words
of
cheer
the
women
smiled
their
knowing
smiles
thru
knowing
tears
reception
at
the
garland
church
house
too
was
over
now
festivities
were
food
for
memories
more
family
friends
did
wish
their
marriage
vows
would
last
forever
farming
work
would
soon
begin
again
in
truth
it
never
stopped
me
thinks
that
hercules
was
peter’s
middle
name
his
augean
stables
never
fully
cleansed
throughout
his
life
just
like
the
rest
of
us
the
cows
to
milk
and
fuss
their
poo
to
move
the
calves
to
feed
the
seed
to
sow
twelve
children
in
the
mix
a
couple
died
along
the
way
did
motor
cross
the
stix
like
each
of
us
will
one
day
do
our
harvest
to
receive
the
husbands
had
commiserated
they
congratulated
both
the
young
bride
ida
and
the
young
groom
peter
hugged
them
both
again
the
wives
did
do
the
same
their
knowing
smiles
and
knowing
tears
again
reception
knew
this
marriage
board
is
more
than
bed
of
pansies
‘specially
for
ida
and
all
women
all
the
time
few
pansies
if
at
all
twelve
children
like
i
said
were
in
their
plan
and
bed
the
two
did
know
or
thought
they
knew
it
all
when
they
were
twenty
two
just
like
the
rest
of
us
yet
when
they
passed
at
last
were
wiser
than
old
Solomon
or
all
his
golden
sheba
court
their
proverbs
were
vouchsafed
from
heaven
knew
that
opposition
came
to
all
straight
from
the
fall
their
guests
did
eat
their
cookies
and
their
other
food
and
drink
their
drink
their
punch
and
say
goodbye
we
left
the
two
upon
the
garland
hill
assured
they
passed
to
heaven
made
our
way
again
along
the
path
of
Christ
to
face
our
sins
and
joys
out
in
those
utah
garland
fields
